Overview:

Corrupt Pete Stauber takes millions from corporate PACs and lobbyists, and votes for their interests. Trina Swanson can’t be bought, and will only answer to the people of Minnesota.

Summary:

Starting now, MN-08 voters – especially women under 55, independents, non-MAGA Republicans, and those in the Minneapolis-St. Paul portion of the district – need to see ads on digital platforms including premium streaming and YouTube (skippable and non-skippable), about the contrast between Pete Stauber and Trina Swanson:

  • Pete Stauber has taken millions in donations from special interests and lobbyists, and sides with them over everyday Minnesotans – giving sweetheart deals to big foreign corporations, all while your health care, grocery and utility costs go up.
  • Trina Swanson is a daughter of Northern Minnesota and former union member who has spent her life serving others, including a 25-year career as a public servant, where she  represented America overseas under administrations from both parties – and protected us from fraud and national security threats. She’ll hold Washington accountable and fight to bring down your costs. Trina can’t be bought – she doesn’t accept corporate PAC money, and only answers to the people of Minnesota.
  • CD-8 has seen the outcome of relying on the same representation: a focus on political games rather than daily issues, and catering to the Trump administration rather than Minnesota families. Minnesota voters are demanding solutions to challenges that shape their daily lives: affordability, healthcare access, Social Security, and economic opportunity. Families want to live in a state where they can pay their bills, get the healthcare they need, access affordable childcare, support our industries, and protect our outdoor resources, including the Boundary Waters.

On broadcast TV in Duluth, voters should continue to see negative or contrast ads.
